- Title: Colocasia esculenta 'Black magic'
- Description: An unusual black foliaged selection of the taro. This is a tuberous, frost-tender perennial with the typical 'elephant's ears'. 60cm long leaves are green when they first open, quickly changing to a rich purplish-black shade. Grows best in moist or even wet soils in semi-shade. May reach to 2m high and nearly as wide in dense clumps.
