- Title: Banksia oreophila. Western Mountain Banksia - Barren Mountain form
- Description: Mainly found in the Stirling Ranges of southern Western Australia. A shrub reaching 3m in height with distinctive flower heads that can vary from pale mauve or pink through to silver-grey. These are produced over winter to spring. Foliage also is variable, ranging from green to silver-blue. Regarded as cold hardy and requiring well-drained soils. Unsuitable for humid climates.
