- Description: Correctly known as Prunus Sato-zakura Shirotae, the Mount Fuji Cherry is noted for the distinctive, flat-topped habit with wide-spread, tiered branches. The large, pure-white flower clusters are a mixture of single and semi-double bloom, have a sweet perfume and are borne over spring. Generally a tree of 5m x 5m, it is grafted onto standards to give straight, clean trunks. Cold hardy. Deciduous.
