  • Description:  A bulbous plant native to the Cape Province of South Africa. Flowers usually bright red but can be orange, yellow or more rarely pink or white. They are produced over summer to autumn and the flowering stems can be up to 60cm in length. An excellent subject for growing in pots or tubs, with over-crowded bulbs often flowering more profusely. Very good drainage and sunny conditions are essentials.
