Leucospermum Veldfire (L. glabrum hybrid)

Email

  • Title:  Leucospermum Veldfire (L. glabrum hybrid)
  • Description:  A long-lived and reliable hybrid of L. glabrum parentage. Showy flower heads are produced in profusion during spring and early summer. First marketed during the 1980's. Not a particularly successful cutflower due to the flower heads snapping off easily when picked. Will tolerate a few degrees of frost once well established. Well-drained, acidic soils and sunny positions are required for successful cultivation.
